NoCO2: fantastic comfort/obviously green
The NoCo2 chair has astonishing ergonomic properties derived from die cut automobile tires. The seat and back float to accommodate user movement. This design by Peter Danko is obviously green in content. It makes the idea of recycling fun and more than just “social responsibility”. It also teaches that problematic post consumer materials can be directly recycled through creative engineering and gives pause to the idea that sophisticated designs must be make with materials that are virgin or wholly reprocessed.
Seat and backs have molded Ash veneer cores with matched face veneers. Standard face species are Walnut and Ash. Custom veneers are available, call for quote. The frame is silver powder coated over steel tubing. Stacks to 5 high.
